The word wonder is defined as a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar or inexplicable by the Oxford dictionary. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines wonders as a miracle. The wonders of the cross of Jesus Christ cannot be compared in any shape or form with the seven wonders of the ancient world because of its enduring and eternal quality. It is an enduring and everlasting miracle! Everything built by man fades and bows to the ravages of time. Everything built by God endures forever.

The cross of Jesus Christ is the ultimate expression and perfect example of God’s love. The promise of salvation and eternal life is for all who will believe from every race, tribe and tongue. John 3:16.

The cross is the greatest sacrifice for sin and show of forgiveness from God. Jesus aid the full price once and for all when He declared, “It is finished!” John 19:30. The work of redemption was complete and sealed forever. Jesus came to save the total man. He saves our souls and heals and delivers us from sickness and diseases and every oppression of the enemy of our souls Isaiah 53:5.

The cross is the place of reconciliation between God and humanity. Jesus died for all. Any who repents and asks for the forgiveness of sins will be saved and also given a ministry of reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:18.

The cross is the place of restoration. The first Adam brought sin and death. Jesus is the life-giving Spirit from heaven 1 Corinthians 15:45.

The cross is the place we find and receive peace that the world is not capable of giving us. Jesus is the Prince of Peace who came to fulfill the Messianic prophesy Isaiah 9:6. He is our peace. The One who destroyed that barrier because of the hostility of our sins against God Ephesians 2:14.

The Cross is the place we find joy which is more enduring that the mere pursuit of happiness which dictated by unfolding events in our lives. Joy is constant because it comes from the Spirit of God. It is with joy that we draw from the wells of our salvation in Jesus Christ Isaiah 12:3.

The cross is the place we pass from “death to life ” and receive eternal life by asking Jesus Christ to be our personal Savior and Lord in heart-felt repentance Romans 6:23.

Jesus has cancelled the record of the charges of our sinful life before God so whatever we have done and where ever you. Now, is the right time to come to His open arms, respond to His love and ask for His forgiveness. He died for us even while we are yet sinners so we can be fully reconciled to God who created us for His glory Colossians 2:14 Romans 5:8
