Faith is the ever-deepening confidence, trust and assurance in the ever-true, faithful and eternal God regardless of our personal circumstances or world events-Hebrews 11:1.
Faith is not an abstract term nor is it a presumption. Faith should not be dependent on favorable circumstances in our individual lives nor family lives. Our faith in God is for all seasons throughout our lives. Our declarations of faith is also for all times-in joy and in pain, through our laughter and in our tears. Declaration of faith rooted in God’s word is for all true believers in Jesus Christ to practice and be rooted in Him. It is both for the weak and the strong in faith-2 Corinthians 5:7, John 11:40, Romans 14:1.
Our faith in the eternal God is a living faith. It is watered by the Holy Spirit each day to deepen, grow and bear fruits. Faith is not meant to be silent. A vibrant faith in God speaks and declares God’s word over lives and situations. A living faith also declares God’s promises that are yes and amen in Jesus Christ-2 Corinthians 1:20, Romans 1:17, James 2:17.
The enemy of our soul is the thief in the business of wanting to kill our faith, steal our joy and destroy our Christian testimonies of faith. He wants us to be silenced because declarations of faith give glory to God in all circumstances. We must make an intentional choice not to keep our mouths shut and make our voices louder and louder to give God all the glory in our lives each day for His tender mercies and faithfulness-John 10:10, Habakkuk 2:4, 1 John 5:5.
The declarations of faith are spoken agreements with God’s word, plans and purposes for our lives and circumstances even when we do not fully understand them. We can never go wrong declaring God’s word over our lives and circumstances in faith even if it sounds foolish to the world. Refuse to be silent, take up your Bible, read and make declarations over your situations, family, friends, and nation. Declare in the boldness of the Holy Spirit, declare believing God who has the power to make all things manifest for His glory. The declarations of faith can move mountains, slay giants, bring healing, change situations and bring restoration. God is still at work in our midst today as in the days of old-Romans 8:28, Hebrews 3:14, Psalm 66:16.
The walk of faith is not a walk of shame even when our faith is going through testing. Faith in God is always powerful and visible in a dark world. The declarations of faith echoes trust and a living hope in an eternal God who is beyond faithful and consistent in His dealings with us. We have a God who will never leave or forsake us. He is there even in the lowest moments when all seems lost. God’s word is true, living and active because God and His word are one. Build your faith by declaring God’s word each day, declare in the boldness of the Holy Spirit God’s word and promises over your life and situations. Declare God’s word for spiritual breakthroughs, declare His word in faith to change the atmosphere around you, in your home, family, community and nation. The word of God is both the sword of the spirit and our song even in challenging times. Do not allow yourself to be silenced-Hebrews 4:12, Acts 4:20, James 2:19.
